As I was a graduate, I had little notable experience, but the interview was rather superficial compared to other interviews I've had. I didn't get the impression that the interview was a good basis for evaluating my suitability.

So it sounds like you're talking about a 3-stage interview process that lots of companies use. First up is the HR interview, which is mainly to check if you're qualified, have the right experience, and generally fit with the company culture. They'll probably ask about your resume, past jobs, and why you want this job. They might also ask about salary and when you can start. Then comes the technical interview, where they check out your actual skills for the job. This could be coding, technical questions, or other stuff depending on the role, and usually, the team you'd be joining does this. The difficulty depends on the job and company. Lastly, the managerial interview, often for mid to senior roles, looks at how you work in a team, lead, and make decisions. They might ask about your leadership style, how you deal with problems, and how you manage projects. They'll also want to know about your career goals and if they match the company's. It's important to get ready for each part and know about the company to answer well.
