The interviewer has a clear idea of what they're looking for. First, there's a Q&A session to check our knowledge, and then they conduct a face-to-face interview after reviewing the Q&A. The interviewer is good and doesn't put pressure on us.

The conversation was really pleasant. I was asked to talk about myself, mention relevant modules from my studies, and explain my motivation for this position. Although I didn't get the job in the end, I can still recommend ECOVIS.

I interviewed for an audit associate role at Ecovis Singapore. The director emphasized they hire based on technical background and fluent spoken English, as auditors report directly to managers/partners and prepare reports. She asked about my ability to work independently, noting some cases require it. She described the interview as a sales process and asked what I could contribute beyond gaining experience. She also gave feedback on my nervousness, suggesting it might make me unsuitable for the stressful, deadline-driven audit environment, and advised calmness.

I got a phone call and then an interview the next day. The interviewer was around 20 minutes late which was tough because I'd taken time off work and had limited time. The interview itself was about 25 minutes long. It was a casual chat, mostly about my CV and talking about similar experiences. No specific competency questions were asked. They went through the role details, which seemed a lot like my current job - managing a small team, some IT responsibilities, and maintenance. They said I'd hear back the following week, but I never did. No offer or rejection, which isn't a great sign, especially with the lateness and lack of response.
