The interview started off nicely but then it got worse when the interviewers began laughing at me mockingly after I was unable to answer a question. That really broke my confidence. I have had interviews before but never experienced such ridicule. If they behave this badly with potential candidates, I wonder how they treat their employees. I even asked the HR for feedback, and he said he would respond but hasn't replied yet. Overall, it was a bad interview experience, the worst one in fact.

So after your application gets shortlisted, you'll have to do this one-hour assessment thingy. It's got two parts: Excel and Writing. For Excel, you'll do basic stuff like converting prices, exchange rates, GDP, etc., and you gotta change the base years too. The writing part is about writing an economy outlook based on some article snippets and data they give you. Then, there's an interview with the Senior Leadership. They're basically gonna see if you fit the job and the firm's vibe. Some questions will be a bit technical, about macroeconomics trends or issues. Oh, and after that interview, there's another 30-minute writing test on some current topic.

The interview started with an HR round which was mainly behavioral questions. This was followed by a Case Study. It was odd because they didn't really give feedback on the case study, felt like they just wanted free work done. Then there was a round with the Hiring Manager for the Industry group who really stressed the importance of industry experience, which I didn't get why they didn't screen for it earlier. The Q&A with the manager was pretty boring and their generic answers made me feel like it's not a place that values good candidates. So, good luck to them and glad I'm out.

RUN AWAY from this organization. The interview process took 3 months. 1 interview with HR, 2nd video interview with the "Global Commercial Director", 3rd in-person interview with the Global Commercial Director, 4th interview with the Editorial Director and Director of Country and Economic Research, North America, EIU; 5th interview/presentation. They are not hiring rather gathering free ideas from the applicants who reached the final round - presentation. Very callous the way they declined my application after the 5th round: "Unfortunately, we decided to go in a different direction."
