First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at eClerx.
Financial Analyst
The interview process included a first round group discussion, followed by a telephonic interview where basic finance questions like ratios and derivatives were asked. The third round was a technical interview focusing in detail on derivatives, including questions about swaps, options, and forwards, as well as situation-based questions.
- Questions about derivatives, ratios, and general finance topics were asked.

So, at eClerx, the whole process had four stages. First up was a Group Discussion (GD) to check how we communicate, think clearly, and work with others. If you passed that, you went on to an HR interview, which was all about my past experiences, what I want to do in my career, and if I'd fit in with the company vibe. Next was an Aptitude Test, testing logic, math skills, and English. The last and most important part was the Technical Interview, where they grilled me on finance stuff, journal entries, accruals, and general accounting. It felt like a good mix of checking technical chops and soft skills.
- My first round at eClerx was a Group Discussion with the topic: “Work From Office vs Work From Home – Which is Better?”. About 8–10 of us were in the group. Everyone got a turn to speak, and they looked at our communication, clear thinking, listening skills, and how well we presented our points. I argued for both sides, mentioning how WFH gives flexibility and saves commute time, while WFO boosts collaboration, team spirit, and sometimes productivity. I made sure to speak confidently, back up my points with real examples, and also prompted others to share their thoughts. The GD was about 10–15 minutes, and it was a good experience that tested both speaking and listening.
- HR interview focusing on my background, career goals, and suitability for the company culture.
- Aptitude Test that evaluated logical reasoning, quantitative ability, and basic English comprehension.
Financial Analyst
The interview process was pretty good but it took a while. It started with an easy aptitude test, followed by some communication rounds. Then there was an HR round, and finally, the manager round, which wasn't too tough. I got the offer after clearing it.
- Can you tell me about your last organization?
