Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EchoStar.
Embedded Software Engineer
Had a phone interview where they asked me about myself and some behavioral questions. Following that, there were technical questions. The interviewer was speaking too fast and unclearly, and the questions were confusing, not related to algorithms and data structures at all.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you answer some behavioral questions?
- Do you have answers to these technical questions?
Embedded Software Engineer
We were brought in for breakfast, then split into two groups. While one group interviewed, the other got a tour. We had lunch together, then switched activities. Afterwards, there was a product demo, benefits overview, and then we were done for the day.
- Tell me about a time you had to step in and do the work of other team members.
Embedded Software Engineer
I had 1 on site interview.
- Could you fix bugs in some simple C code?
