My interview experience at Ebix was terrible, possibly the worst I've had. The recruiter acted very important and busy, but I felt like they were just bluffing. I interviewed in Feb 2020 and was selected, with an initial offer of 'x' LPA. I was happy and went home. After four days of trying to contact the recruiter, they finally called and reduced the offer to 'x' LPA - 1 LPA, citing my 90-day notice period, even though I had mentioned this beforehand. It felt like they were playing games and politics. It's a very unprofessional organization that doesn't respect interviewees, making them wait all day. They have three technical rounds, and you have to sit there the whole day, only for them to engage in petty politics afterward. There are plenty of other jobs out there, so don't waste your time with this organization.

I went through 3 technical rounds and 2 HR rounds. They asked me about what I would do in the role. It took up my whole day. Even after clearing all rounds, I didn't get an offer letter. The HR person was very unprofessional. They initially told me I was selected and would get an offer letter. I had to call them myself because they didn't send an email, and when I called, they just said they couldn't offer me the job and I wasn't selected. It was a very bad interview process. They asked questions like they were hiring for Big 4 companies, but the process was terrible. Even the Director interviewed me, but they still didn't give an offer after selecting me. HR asked me to lower my CTC. This organization doesn't have money, so please NEVER go for an interview there, they won't offer you anything. It's just a waste of your time, a full day wasted.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. It involved one technical interview, one HR interview, and one client-facing round. The face-to-face interview and the HR interview happened on the same day. The client round took place a few days later. I received the offer within two days after the final round.
