First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eaton.
Production Supervisor
The interview process was pretty straightforward. This role has been vacant for a while, and it seems like they're either really selective or struggling to get anyone to accept an offer. Honestly, I'm not sure I would have taken the job even if they had offered it to me.
- Are you willing to work overtime?
Production Supervisor
After submitting my application online, I got contacted quickly to set up a phone screener, which happened about 3 days later. The call was around 20 min and we talked about my resume and the job description basics. About a week after that, I had a phone interview with two of the hiring managers. This call was about 30 min and went deeper into my background. A few days after the phone interview, they invited me for an in-person interview at their plant. For this, I needed to get ready a 15-20 min PowerPoint presentation (they gave guidance on what to cover) and then I had 3 one-hour interviews with different pairs of managers, and we finished with a plant tour. Everyone was really nice, kept me updated, and made me feel at ease.
- How competitive would you say you are on a scale of 1 to 10, and could you explain your reasoning?
- Describe an instance where you proposed a good idea that was ultimately shut down by your supervisor or manager.
Production Operator
Entrevista tranquila, só que o teste é bem complicado. Perguntaram onde vc já trabalhou, o que fazia lá? Idade, com quem mora? Onde mora, qual horário está disponível para trabalhar, já trabalhou em metalúrgica?
- Could you tell me about your previous work experiences?
- Where have you worked before?
- What were your responsibilities in your previous roles?
