Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eaton.
Analyst
It was a 3 round process. First, a technical interview, then an HR interview, and finally a senior leadership interview. The technical interview mostly involved questions about work and scenarios. The HR interview focused on personality and behavioral traits. The senior leadership interview aimed to understand my potential and the expectations and stakeholders involved in the role. All the interviewers were very professional.

I applied through a campus recruitment drive. The company visited for internships and mentioned that they might extend job offers based on performance. The interview format varies depending on the interviewer's background. Typically, the first round involves a mix of technical knowledge and behavioral assessment, followed by an HR round. Some of my peers had an additional round between the first and HR rounds. They might also inquire about your knowledge of the company during the interview. Across all rounds, they assess your behavior and how you handle situations.

I had a really nice interview experience. I spoke with HR and my future manager. They started by sharing some information about Eaton in Italy and their products. Then, they asked about my educational background, my reasons for choosing my universities, and my prior work experience. They also inquired about my interest in working at Eaton. After that, they explained the project I'd be working on and asked a few questions to gauge my understanding of the automotive market.
