First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at easyJet.
Finance Graduate Scheme
The first step is an online assessment including an e-tray exercise and psychometric tests. If you pass those, you go to a 1-day assessment centre at easyJet's Luton HQ. The assessment day has a presentation about easyJet, two group activities (one practical like making paper things, another analyzing financial data and deciding something), a presentation where you analyze financial data and make a decision, and a competency-based interview. They give feedback no matter what.
- The hardest question for me was when I'd already answered it and couldn't think of a new example.
- Despite trying to make the interview feel less like an interrogation, the questions were pre-planned, typical of competency interviews.
Graduate Trainee
After applying online with my CV and cover letter, I had to answer 3-4 competency-based questions. Then I completed 2 online SHL tests: one for numerical reasoning and another for logical reasoning. The final stage was an invitation to the Easyjet Academy for a personal interview where I was asked CV and competency-based questions. I also participated in a group exercise and gave a presentation on the topic 'how can easyjet be the biggest short haul airline company in Europe'.

Graduate Trainee
It begins with an online application, followed by a few online exercises that you can practice beforehand. They're not too complex. If you pass this stage, you'll record yourself answering some questions. The final step is the Assessment Center, which has a relaxed atmosphere. You'll participate in group activities to showcase skills like leadership, teamwork, and industry knowledge. You'll then be given a topic and some time to prepare a presentation for two interviewers. They'll ask about your decision-making process and challenge your choices. Lastly, there's a personal interview to assess your fit with the company.
- What makes you want to join easyJet?
- Tell me about what you know regarding the company.
