Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at easyJet.
Communications Manager
It was pretty straightforward and everyone was friendly. I started with an HR screening, then talked to the hiring manager. After that, I had a two-part task to complete, which wrapped up the interview process.
- Describe a situation where you had to manage a crisis.
Internal Communications Manager
I got an email from a recruiter asking about hybrid work and salary expectations. They also asked me to send over a work sample showcasing my relevant skills. About a week later, I spoke with someone on the recruiter's team who asked the same questions. I was rejected the next day. Honestly, the first part felt like it took a bit too long.
- Can you commute to Luton?
- What salary are you expecting?
- What motivates your interest in easyJet?
Communications Manager
It was a competency based interview with two main stages. I spoke with three people in total, two from the communications team and one from HR. The interview process itself was good, although the offer stage took quite a while.
- Tell me about your experience working in fast-paced environments.
