The whole interview experience took about 3 months from application to response. It took them a month to get back to me after I applied. We scheduled an interview, but due to Covid, it had to be a conference call. They said I'd hear back in 2-4 weeks about a second interview. I followed up about a month later, and then waited another 4 months without hearing anything! By then, I had already started a new job, and even if they offered me the position, their unprofessionalism and disregard for my time meant I wouldn't have accepted.

Behavioral Group Presentation

The whole thing took about 5 months. The last interview was a 90-minute panel with the team, which was good, but then they went silent for a month. I followed up twice and after I mentioned another offer, they finally got back to me saying 'no'. A phone call would have been more professional than ghosting and sending a rejection email. The long hiring process, like this 5-month one, isn't great because it suggests the role isn't valued, the team is disorganized, and it's unfair to candidates who can't wait that long. Transparency about hiring timelines would be helpful, like stating 'for late summer/fall hire' if posting in spring. More resources for the hiring team would also be beneficial.
