The process was easy, starting with just a resume and cover letter, followed by an interview and reference checks. No issues, everyone I interacted with was really passionate about their work and seemed to enjoy it. The interview was straightforward and lasted about 30 minutes.

I've interviewed for two jobs. For the first, I had a phone screen with two attorneys. For the second, I had a phone screen with a recruiter then a zoom panel with attorneys. The first was a bad experience, the questions were rote and didn't allow for organic conversation. The attorneys seemed unhappy and sometimes didn't acknowledge my answers before moving on. I was told to save my questions for later and they never got back to me. The second experience was much better. The recruiter was nice and transparent. The panel interview with attorneys was interesting, and even though they asked many of the same questions as the first interview, this time the attorneys listened and asked follow-up questions.

Behavioral

I had two interviews. The first was with HR and the hiring manager, and it was all behavioral questions about culture and DEI. The second interview was with a panel of people from different levels, and it was also behavioral, focusing on culture and DEI. They told me at the end of the panel that they'd check my references. I told my references to expect a call, but they never actually got called, which was awkward. I followed up after two weeks, but it's been two months and I still haven't heard anything.

The whole interview experience took about 3 months from application to response. It took them a month to get back to me after I applied. We scheduled an interview, but due to Covid, it had to be a conference call. They said I'd hear back in 2-4 weeks about a second interview. I followed up about a month later, and then waited another 4 months without hearing anything! By then, I had already started a new job, and even if they offered me the position, their unprofessionalism and disregard for my time meant I wouldn't have accepted.
