The interview process involved 2 rounds. I made it to the second round where I was asked if I had ever eaten at the restaurant before. When I said no, the interview was over. So, probably try out the restaurant before the second round to be more familiar with the menu. After the interview, she said she would let me know about the job in 2 days, but I never heard back. So, if you get the job, you will be offered it on the spot. Also, do your research on the restaurant and take your time during the interview, and you should be fine.

The interview process was smooth, with two interviews: one with the restaurant manager and another with the general manager. It was a very short interview, lasting only about 5-10 minutes. They asked about my availability and if I had previous restaurant experience, which I didn't. They didn't ask many questions about soft skills.

  • What's your availability like?
  • Do you have any previous experience working in a restaurant?

It was a 3 stage interview process for the Host position at the Edmonton location. It included general behavioral questions and questions about my previous experience in hosting and waitering. I'd say compared to most restaurants, this interview process was a bit tougher.

  • Can you describe your previous hosting experience?

You get a call back in about a week. After that, there were 4 questions, but you don't get hired right away. A week later, I was called back in. The manager was really nice, and the interview happened right at one of the restaurant tables.

  • Can you tell me a little about yourself?
  • What does hospitality mean to you?
  • What is your interest in Earls?
