They ghosted me! The interviews themselves were straightforward, and I felt I performed well. However, I became excessively nervous during the final interview, which I suspect led to their decision. They never contacted me again, which was disappointing. I dedicated weeks to preparing for these interviews, and I wish they were more understanding of interview anxiety, not expecting perfection. My nervousness in one interview doesn't reflect my ability to perform the job.

This was the first step in the interview process. I connected with a recruiter and scheduled a Google Hangouts call. She was very friendly and asked some basic questions at first. I thought she would ask me to expand on my answers, but she didn't. The call was 15 minutes, shorter than the expected 30 minutes.

Started with a reasoning and personality test, then an online interview that had a coding part. Didn't talk much at all. They don't really focus on getting to know you until you've passed all the tests, which I didn't.

So, EAI's interview process is a bit different and takes longer than some other places, but the people I met were great and made it a good learning experience. After doing some assessments, HR contacted me quickly. The first video call was mainly to get to know me, and I had 3 simple coding questions. Then, a tech interview with future colleagues where I could share my work and thinking. Next, another technical interview involved building a web page to display database info. They didn't care if I knew their specific tech, just how good I am. I even had a surprising phone chat with the CEO! The final stage was a full day of onsite interviews, both technical and not, with the team. It was long but not rushed. I got to have lunch with the whole company, which they do daily. There was also a chat with just new hires for honest feedback. The CEO gave me the job offer at the very end after a final meeting. Overall, a really good experience.
