Technical Behavioral Case Other

The interview was a 7-round process with an added UCAT test. Four rounds were packed with technical and business questions, diving deep into my AI/ML projects, covering use cases, business value, technical details like model stages and math, evaluation, and deployment. These interviews were about 45-60 minutes each. I also spoke with a Director of Product Management in the US for about 25 minutes, focusing on project, business, and domain knowledge. A 1-hour, 15-minute chat with a Talent Acquisition Manager assessed cultural fit, company values, benefits, and future prospects, and I shared my insights on their business. The 6th round was the UCAT test: 40 questions in 20 minutes to gauge cognitive ability, speed, and accuracy, with no negative marking. It covered general quantitative and qualitative aptitude topics. For the UCAT, the advice is to answer as many as possible (aim for 37-40) without getting stuck, and answer every question since you can't go back. Finally, the 7th round involved salary and benefits negotiation with HR. Throughout, Rakhi Pukale from HR kept me informed about the rounds, their nature, and feedback, making the process smooth and well-organized.

It was a frustrating experience. I have a GIS background and was really interested in the role, but it didn't feel worth it to prepare for the online test and interview. Overall, a negative experience. The interviewer was nice, professional, and knew the role well. They also declined my application quickly, which I appreciate. However, there were many negatives. Like others have mentioned, they require an IQ test (twice!) before the phone screen. This old-fashioned IQ test reflects poorly on their HR values, in my opinion, showing a preference for competition over collaboration. I passed it and got to the phone screen. I don't know why they declined me, giving the standard "no liability" reason. My profile matched the job description perfectly, and I even had skills useful for other teams. Looking at other Product Manager profiles on LinkedIn, there's a variety of backgrounds, so I don't think diversity is an issue. Most other companies at least have an interview with the hiring manager. So I'm left wondering. If you want to work here, despite the red flags others have pointed out, set your salary expectations very low, much lower than the market rate. It was a lost opportunity for both of us.

The process involved an initial online assessment conducted via Zoom video call without audio. This included a timed twenty-minute IQ quiz and an untimed personality quiz. After passing the online assessment, I was invited for an in-person interview at the EagleView office. The in-person stage had two rounds: one with a subordinate team member and another with a senior team member, possibly the hiring manager. The questions focused on my past work experience and general technology knowledge, which I felt I answered well. The HR pushed for the interview to be on a Friday for quick hiring decisions, which required me to arrange travel without alternative dates. They didn't provide feedback until Tuesday, and only after I followed up was I told I hadn't cleared, with vague reasons initially. Further insistence led to the feedback that my experience didn't align with their requirements. They could have clarified this earlier, possibly through a call, to save me time and money on travel.
