First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EAB.
Copywriter
I applied to EAB online in August of 2024 and was then given and aptitude test to take, which took around 30 minutes to complete. The next week I had a phone interview with a very unenthusiastic recruiter who seemed to be reading from a script the entire time, which a left me with a very poor impression. I was also asked to describe my academic history rather than my work history in depth which seemed not very relevant given I am five years removed from college. After about two weeks of not hearing anything I received an email telling me EAB was not moving forward with my candidacy.
- Can you tell me about your academic background?
Content Strategist
This was a very quick process (maybe unusual). A recruiter reached out the same day I applied. I took the CAT test, and then again, but this time it was proctored. After a quick recruiter chat to get acquainted, I had three more interviews with team members.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
Content Writer
I applied and interviewed for two jobs over the last year. I had an internal connection and met all the qualifications. They are slow to respond and don't follow up on interviews unless you move forward. The first interview was odd because the interviewer seemed uninterested and only asked a couple of questions. The next two interviews also felt unprepared and disengaged, with generic questions not related to my background. I had to complete the same test twice, once online and once in person, possibly to check for cheating. On the plus side, they always gave me the outcome, even if it took over a month.
- Why did you apply for this role?
- What questions do you have for me?
