Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EA Sports.
Intern
The interview process included some quick questions about my background and education. They asked how I would be a good fit for the role and what I could contribute to EA Sports. It was pretty easy, with not too many technical questions, mostly behavioral stuff.
- In what ways do you think you'd be a good fit for this position, and what can you bring to EA Sports?
Intern
So the process kicked off with a recruiter chat over the phone. She asked about my work background, but no technical stuff. Then, I spoke with the technical recruiter. After that, there was a technical interview where I was asked about my skills and the technical side of my past projects. They also asked me about a video game I like and what I thought were its pros and cons. And if I were the developer, what improvements I'd make to the game. This round felt more behavioral than technical, though.
- What game do you like the most?
Intern
The interview was skill-based and competency questions, asking about past experiences and examples. It was conversational, but over Zoom, so it was harder to connect and make a good impression.
- Can you tell me about your communication style?
- What are your career aspirations post-University?
- Please provide a comprehensive introduction about yourself.
