Junior Java Developer
You apply online through a portal, referral, or the company website. Recruiters will check your resume to see if you have the necessary experience, technical skills like Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL, educational background, and project history. Then there's a Technical Round 3 which is a Project Discussion where we'll dive deep into your past projects, covering their architecture, the tech stack used, challenges you encountered and how you overcame them, any design choices made, and your specific role and contributions.
- Will you be working with backend Java development?
Product Analyst
The interview started with a quick intro where I had to talk about myself. Then there were some background questions, followed by questions to gauge my understanding of the company. Finally, some technical questions were asked. Overall, it was a good experience, and the interviewer was very calm.
- Could you share a bit about yourself?
- What's your background?
- What do you know about this company?
Automation Test Engineer
I applied through Naukri.com and had my interview in May 2024. It was one technical interview round. They rescheduled the interview timings multiple times, so you have to be patient. Speak with confidence and good communication skills. Prepare on scenario based questions, Functional Testing, Test Scenarios, API Testing, and SQL.
- Can you describe your typical daily tasks and responsibilities within an Agile project framework?
- What is the distinction between smoke, sanity, and regression testing?
- Could you explain the various status codes encountered during API testing?
Project Manager
So the whole thing took about 2-3 weeks. A recruiter reached out and we did a quick call to get past some basic questions, and then the first round was set up for two days later. It felt good, like I nailed it, and I figured there'd be another interview. The second round got scheduled, then rescheduled like three times because the interviewer kept being busy. They were super keen to hire me within a week since I was already serving my notice period, but the delays were getting longer, and my other job offer's joining date was approaching. Eventually, the interview happened and it also went well. I felt I passed this one too. The interviewer said he'd give his feedback right away because they wanted me to start ASAP. The recruiter called to say I was shortlisted and there was just one final HR round to wrap things up quickly. A couple of days passed, and I checked in with her because my other joining date was close and I needed to decide soon. Then another four days went by while the recruiter struggled to get HR and the manager to approve the package, which had apparently been approved before. So, I eventually told them to forget it and I stopped the process.
- Tell me about your willingness to work weekends and overtime.
