I went through multiple rounds with different people, and overall it was okay but it took a long time. I had to wait a while to be contacted by the recruitment team, and then also wait for feedback. I wish they would explain the interview steps and timelines upfront.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process at Dyson was disappointing due to unprofessionalism. There was a lack of communication and no updates on my application status. After finishing all the interview rounds, I didn't receive any feedback or updates for weeks. I only found out the process was complete by checking my career profile. This was frustrating after preparing and interviewing. The interviewers seemed disinterested and unprepared. Some questions were vague and poorly formulated, making it hard to answer properly. The process didn't seem tailored to the role or designed for accurate assessment. Overall, the unprofessional process, lack of communication, delayed updates, and interviewer disinterest made for a poor experience. A company's interview process shows its professionalism and respect for candidates, and Dyson fell short.

I only had the first interview with HR, but I withdrew my application after being selected for the second round. The HR was really nice and enthusiastic about the company, and tried to build a genuine connection by asking personal questions like about my education, and we even found some common ground by sharing similar experiences. Since the HR was new (only 3-4 months there), she couldn't give much info about feedback from past trainees or a clear picture of the company culture based on her own experience.
