I had a phone interview, and then got forwarded on to another phone interview with the national sales manager and a trainer. The second interview didn't go too well because I asked a question based on my research of the company and honest feedback I got from some PT's I know who work in the territory I'd be working in. The manager got really defensive and aggressive in how they answered. I figured if they aren't open to hearing honest questions and challenges about their product, and don't want to hire people who research the company beforehand, it's probably not going to be a very open work environment.

I started with a phone interview that went really well. The interviewer seemed interested and said I'd have a second phone interview with her supervisor. That second interview also went well, and I was invited for an in-person interview. I drove over an hour for this interview. At the end, I asked about feedback on my application, and she promised to get back to me within a week, either way. Unfortunately, I never heard back, even after I followed up with an email. It was pretty unprofessional to leave me hanging like that.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was really tough and detailed. I had lots of interviews with my manager where we talked about business strategies and sales history. I also had to figure out which accounts to target and what kind of sales pitch to use. Like any sales job, I also had to actually sell the product to my manager, the regional manager, and the VP of sales. Most of the interviews were over the phone or on Skype.

I had a phone interview with a recruiter first, then a phone interview with the Regional Sales Manager (who covers the Midwest), and then an in-person interview with the same manager. After that, I had one more interview with the VP. It was pretty straightforward, they shared a lot of information about the position.
