I was given a paper test to complete using a calculator. After that, I had a one-on-one interview with the hiring agent. They told me about the company and asked me some general and personal questions for about 20 minutes.

I saw the job on Craigslist for an ENTRY-LEVEL MECHANICAL ENGINEER and emailed my resume. They replied and offered me an interview. It was a two-part interview. Day 1 involved a physics test, which wasn't too hard. I remember W=FD, F=MA, V=IR being on it, the basics. Then I had an interview with HR, just standard questions. Day 2, they gave me a small metal part and a micrometer and asked me to model it in SolidWorks. I also met with some other people, but they seemed uninterested and were mostly on their phones. Major red flag!

It started with a quick quiz to check basic engineering knowledge. Then, I had an interview with HR. She talked about the company and what they're looking for in new hires. They asked me some behavioral questions, including if I'd be open to working a third shift to meet project deadlines. Finally, she asked if I had any questions, and that was it. The whole thing took about an hour.
