So, for this front-end developer job, they first asked me about how I'd build a responsive page from nothing. I told them how I'd start with a plan for the layout, then use semantic HTML, style it with CSS Flexbox or Grid, and finally make it interactive with JavaScript or React. Then, they gave me a little live coding challenge to make a form that had validation. I got it done in the time they gave me and explained what I was doing as I typed. They seemed to like that I talked through my thoughts, wrote clean code, and could answer their follow-up questions.

So the interview was in two parts, basically. First, HR stuff, asking about me, how I work, my motivations. They asked about past situations like dealing with team conflicts, how I communicate, and what I want from my career. They also asked about my goals and if they fit the job, plus my strengths and weaknesses. Then we talked about a project. I explained this data analysis thing I led. I covered the problem, how we did it, the struggles with getting data, and what we found out. It was important to show the project's impact and what could be done next. The interviewer seemed keen on how I solve problems, work with others, and the results and learnings from my work. I think this part showed my tech skills and how I use them.
