Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DV Trading.
Intern
It was a nice and professional interview. It was a technical interview. They asked one to two brainteasers depending on time. It covered basic logic and probabilities. The duration was fifteen to twenty minutes. No need to feel pressured. If you get stuck, ask for hints.
- Considering eight equally skilled knights in a tournament, what is the chance that A and B will face each other in the semi-final?
Intern
Went through 3 rounds, the first two were just about the role and me, then the third was a 10-20 min presentation on convincing Asian clients to work with DV.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your strengths?
- Could you present on how to persuade potential clients in Asia to work with DV?
Quant Intern
It was 4 rounds total: HR, 2 technical rounds, and a final senior manager behavioral interview. The overall process was good, no issues. The recruiter was quick to respond and clear about everything, and I got an offer not long after the final interview.
- Could you discuss your previous project experiences?
- What are your interests?
- Do you have any fixed income questions?
