There were three interview rounds. First was a call with HR Talent Acquisitions where we talked about myself for about 30 minutes and they gave me a general description of the role. Second, I spoke with the Hiring Manager who went a bit deeper into my past experience and gave a deeper description of the role. Lastly, I had a plant tour followed by two separate 1-hour interviews with some engineers and managers. They asked good questions, mostly looking for STAR answers about my past work experience and soft skills. A favorite question was about a time I took a risk and its outcome.

The interview process at DuPont had three main stages. First, there was a 45-minute video call with a recruiter in EMEA, which was mostly about basic info and checking if I was a good fit. Then, a one-hour video interview with the hiring manager, which was more about getting to know me. The final stage was a three-hour on-site panel interview with six people. It started with me giving a 15-minute presentation on whatever I wanted, and then they asked questions. After that, there were three 45-minute sessions, each with two interviewers. The whole thing from applying to getting the offer took exactly three months, partly because of the holidays and the hiring manager being sick. It was a really clear and professional process, and I felt respected and comfortable. The recruiter kept me in the loop and was really quick to respond. I could tell they value teamwork because of the kinds of questions they asked. My advice is to be respectful, be yourself, and know DuPont's values like safety, respect, sustainability, and ethics.

Extremely unprofessional experience. They reached out, scheduled a phone interview, and then never followed through—no call, no cancellation, no courtesy message. I sent multiple follow-up emails trying to confirm or reschedule, and all were ignored. It’s disappointing and disrespectful to treat candidates this way, especially after initiating contact. If this is how they handle potential hires, I can only imagine how they operate internally
