I applied online and didn't make it through initially. A recruiter reached out, and we corresponded. Weeks later, another role opened, I applied again, and the same recruiter contacted me to schedule an interview. She mentioned that my previous rejection wasn't due to lack of skills but timing, which was a nice touch. I had a brief chat with the recruiter, then proceeded to an interview with the hiring manager. That interview was very good, direct, and professional, with the hiring manager asking excellent questions.

Behavioral Presentation

The recruiter was responsive and nice. Duo presented itself as an inclusive and thoughtful company. A recent acquisition by CISCO had shifted their structure somewhat, which is understandable. A lot of the CSMs here haven't been with the company for more than a year. It was a good interview process overall - HR, the hiring manager, other CSMs, and a mock presentation, then two more interviews. What really got me though was the lack of follow-up. If I go through an initial screening and it's a no, I wouldn't expect that. Seven separate sessions including a mock presentation with absolutely no follow-up is just disrespectful. I felt like my time and effort were not valued.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Went through a bunch of phone interviews, then a 3-hour sit-down at their head office. Pretty standard process overall, with the face-to-face being the most important part. You'll usually meet with the hiring manager, a VP, the sales team, and another CSM from your future team. They all ask situational questions about your experience, your approach, how you learn, etc. Unfortunately, I never heard back after that. Followed up twice and just got told they'd be in touch. They were super professional until the very end.
