Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dunham's.
Sales Associate
The interview process was professional and the questions were challenging. I felt the questions asked were proper for the position I was applying for. I felt the interviewer was organized and knew a lot of information about the position. All of the questions I had were answered.
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
Sales Associate
I did an open interview style, where I handed in my application when I got there. It was a one-on-one with a manager and a series of in-depth, scripted questions. This was different from the usual hiring process because it was for a seasonal role.
- How would you handle a conflict with peers at school?
Sales Associate
I applied in the store and they rang me a few days later to interview. I was out of town so they told me to call back and set up an interview when I was back. I interviewed in the afternoon and a few hours later they gave me the offer.
- How would you handle a challenging customer?
- Tell me about your skills.
- Which sports do you know about?
