The interview process was really chill and it was easy to chat with the manager. I liked that the staff were nice and showed me where to go. The managers seem like they like their jobs. I'd suggest working here.
- Tell me about your sales experience and how it's helped you.
Key Holder
The District Manager saw my resume and wanted me to interview for the Key Holder job. The manager forgot about the interview and told me to just fill out the application online. The interview was a waste of my time. The District Manager only cared about people making $8.00-$10.00 an hour and didn't like you if you made more. I got the runaround and wouldn't suggest applying to Lenior NC unless you make minimum wage, otherwise they aren't interested.
- Do you want a job?!
Coordinator
I handed in my application in person after seeing the job posting online. The store manager called me back pretty quickly, under 10 minutes, to ask about my availability for an initial interview. He seemed happy with how that went and sent me off to schedule another interview with the District Manager for the next week. That interview also went well, and they then started my background check, which took about 5 weeks. I got a phone offer the same day my background check results came in.
- Do you have any knowledge about kayaks?
Store Manager
I got a phone call from the DM and we scheduled an interview. The interview was thorough and lasted about an hour. It was a face to face interview with the DM, very straightforward. At the end, there was an open question session and it was very informative.
- What are your reasons for wanting to work at Dunham's?
- Can you provide an example of a situation where...?
