Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dun & Bradstreet.
Financial Analyst
The interview process was smooth and well-structured. HR informed me in advance and provided a proper job description. The interview covered both technical knowledge and relevant work experience.
- Could you explain the TEV model?
- Can you walk me through a project you managed entirely on your own?
Financial Analyst
First, I had a phone interview with HR where they asked typical interview questions. Then, I had to take a full day off to spend at D&B for four in-person interviews. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly, and they all seemed very knowledgeable about the position. Overall, it was a good experience. The job itself sounded amazing, but the hours were more than I was willing to work (weekends and nights on top of regular business hours), and the salary was also lower than what I'm currently making.
- Can you share an example of a time you achieved success?
Financial Analyst
They seem to want to hire you as a junior role to pay you the lowest possible salary and save on their compensation expenses. Apparently, they were going private and new management tried to cut costs as much as possible.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this company?
