first there was a short call to talk about the job and what they expected. then a video interview for about an hour, it was really relaxed and friendly, the ladies interviewing me knew my resume really well. mostly we talked about the company and about me. then a short call back to let me know an offer would be sent. i got the offer and negotiated my start date because of personal stuff and they were okay with it. finally got the contract to sign.

Customer Service Representative
Came early for interview time. The staff are very accommodating, they have a welcome fruit platter, cookies and water for the applicants while waiting for their turn. It was like a panel interview. Two persons interviewing the applicant then after some time change to another two interviewer. The question mainly for the applicants to introduce themselves to the company and their past experiences. After the interview, the recruiter will brief you on what to expect and the procedures if the applicant will move forward. I wish they can tell right away if you pass the face to face interview to avoid more stress on waiting. Even though, It was a nice experienced...

Customer Service Representative
So I applied for this Customer Service Representative job and first spoke with a recruiter from Michigan who was covering for the HR person in Waltham, MA. They mentioned the role I applied for was already filled but still wanted to interview me. After that initial call, I had phone interviews over two weeks with three people I would be working with in Waltham. Finally, they invited me for an in-person interview. I live out of state but plan to move to the area, which we'd discussed in all the phone interviews. The interview process itself was pretty straightforward: four half-hour meetings with different department leads. Everyone was polite and friendly, and they seemed to like their jobs. They mostly asked the same kinds of questions about my background and the training process. In the end, I didn't get an offer, which is fine, but the process was quite involved for a generic rejection email. After four phone calls, two long drives, and a two-hour interview, that's all I got – a very unprofessional response. I emailed the department head I met after the interview to thank them for their time. After getting the generic rejection, I emailed another department head, thanking them and saying that even though I didn't get the position, it was a good experience and to keep me in mind for the future, asking if they had any feedback. No one replied. The HR person at that branch was really poor. I've had two management roles before, and this wasn't my first job application, so I've been rejected before. But I've never had such an extensive process end with a standard email and no follow-up. It was very disappointing.
- Can you share an instance where you had a conflict with a superior and how you managed it?
