First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dun & Bradstreet.
Senior Analyst
The interview process went well, starting with the initial recruiter screen and moving on to interviews with the hiring managers. They were consistently responsive to questions and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout.
- What aspects of this role particularly interest you?
- How do you envision your career path in the next five years?
Analyst
I first had a brief 15-minute chat with a recruiter, which was quite nice and informative. They then recommended me for the next stage, where I interviewed with the person currently in the role I was applying for, and also my potential boss. After that, the recruiter called back to see how I felt about the conversation. Finally, I had a last interview with the Director of Technology Operations, where we delved into the role's specifics, objectives, my background, and how I'd be a good fit.
- What is your salary expectation for this role?
Project Analyst
I applied on a Friday night and got an email the next morning for a phone interview. I scheduled it for 9 am. On the interview day, I checked my email an hour before and there were no cancellations. The interviewer was over 2 hours late and emailed instead of calling, saying she got busy and asked to reschedule for later that day or the next. I wanted to do it the same day, so I emailed her back. She was 10 minutes late to the rescheduled time. She only asked 4 generic questions and then asked if I had questions. I asked about 5 or 6 questions about the position since the description was very brief. I emailed 6 days later about the face-to-face interview status, got no response, and emailed again 2 days after that with no response. This morning, 3 days later, I received an automated email from HR saying they are moving forward with other candidates. The whole D&B interview experience felt unprofessional and rude. I didn't feel valued by D&B.
- None of the questions were difficult or unexpected, they were all generic.
- I was only asked 4 questions in total.
