Behavioral

Got referred by a faculty member, and was invited to interview based on my credentials. It was a very laid back, informal meeting in the lab space, and most of the time was spent discussing the lab's ongoing research. I got the feeling that it was more of a checking for mutual interest/fit sort of thing, rather than a conventional interview.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. It basically involved one meeting with the main researcher in charge of the lab. We also took a walk through the lab space and some nearby labs. After that, an offer letter came through from the department.
