I had a brief initial chat with the recruiter, who was really helpful and gave me a good overview of the role and what Duke has to offer. She then set up a Zoom interview with a manager, which was quite straightforward. I also had the chance to speak with some of the staff, and they've offered me the opportunity to shadow before I commit.

The interview was pretty brief, clocking in at around 20 minutes. We covered topics like leadership, teamwork, and what my future aspirations are. It felt pretty relaxed, though there were some standard interview questions mixed in. I also got to ask about the unit, and she was open about sharing both the good and the not-so-good aspects.
