First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Duane Reade.
Pharmacy Technician
The interview process was pretty easy. I applied for the job on Oct 23, and got a call the next day to come in for an interview on Oct 26. I interviewed with the store manager and his assistant. He asked general questions and a few about my pharmacy experience. After the interview, he said he'd get back to me. I got a job offer the day after via email, and another email to take a drug test.
- What is your availability like?
- Can you tell me about your leadership qualities?
- Describe a time you dealt with an angry customer and how you handled it.
Pharmacy Technician
It was a standard interview process.
- Could you tell me about your greatest weakness?
Pharmacist
It was a quick run-through of basic questions about your experience level, the environments you've worked in, and your ability to multitask and handle a busy atmosphere. There were some situational questions, but they were pretty easy.
- Can you multitask and provide an example?
