The interview process was nice and a good experience overall. I think I fumbled my words and couldn't express myself well, which is probably why I didn't get the job.

The interview process with Nic De Nuzzo and Diego De Mauro was really smooth. Diego De Mauro was super helpful all the way through, giving me all the info I needed. My chat with Nic De Nuzzo for the Software Engineer job was really eye-opening. The call was interesting; he laid out what the company does, the tech stack, and what they're after in the role. He also made me feel at ease, which made for a good, positive chat. I'm really happy with how DTN managed the job interview process.

It was a 4 round interview process that lasted about a month. First, an HR screening call. Then, an interview with the hiring manager and the head of the Manila office. After that, 2 technical interview rounds. I think it might depend on the role though. They initially told me there would only be one technical interview with offshore folks. Overall, the interview process was pleasant, and the interviewers asked relevant questions and were easy to talk to. I'm rating this experience negatively because of the recruiter. I applied for a Senior Java Developer role, but my application was sent for a higher role instead. The recruiter did ask me before doing so, and I agreed because she said the tech stack and job description would be similar. I also assumed they would consider me for the original role if I didn't get the higher one, but that didn't happen. I passed the first rounds. Then, I had another technical round with questions on a different tech stack I don't have experience with, which wasn't mentioned before. After not passing the final interview, the recruiter said she'd find other positions for me if I was interested. She only got back to me a month later, by which time I had lost interest. It was frustrating because a colleague of hers reached out about the initial position I applied for (so the role was still open). I told her a recruiter was already handling my applications. A note to recruiters: please be transparent about application status. For other applicants: if you're asked to try for a higher role, ask for the job description again to be sure.
