Analyst
Applied for a full-time role in mid-January. Got an online assessment two weeks later, which I passed. Then, it took another six weeks to schedule a phone screening. After that, another month passed, and I had to chase the recruiter for a response.
- Could you provide an overview of your resume?
Analyst
The interview involved 2 interviewers and lasted for 45 minutes total. The first 30 minutes were dedicated to general fit questions, followed by 15 minutes of strategy questions, on which I did not perform well. I believe that with more preparation, specifically in consulting-style case preparation, I could have performed better. The interviewers seemed to have an MBA and engineering background, which might have been the profile they were seeking. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but felt underprepared for the strategy portion.
- What are your thoughts on DTI's capital structure and would you suggest any changes, along with the reasoning behind them?
Analyst
So for this role, I had a panel interview with four managers from the department. They asked me questions about the job and my background, and it was mostly behavioral. They really seemed to like the STAR method for answering.
- Tell me about a time you had to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
