We started with a phone interview, then the site interview was with leadership. After a site tour, an offer was sent. The manager interviewed and vetted to test your understanding of unit operations and team building skills. They looked for experiences that showed you made key decisions in projects and operations.

The interview was okay. We discussed my resume and did a plant tour. They extended an offer, but heads up: if you try to negotiate, they might pull the offer. They'll keep you waiting, probably trying to find someone else, and won't tell you it's a final offer.

I went to a career fair and got an interview for the next day from the hiring manager. They said it would be a panel interview, but the hiring manager wasn't there and the on-site folks seemed surprised to see me. The hiring manager was on vacation for about two weeks after my interview and I didn't hear back until I emailed a few times. It felt like they had already hired someone but still interviewed me. Not sure why I was there.
