It was a joint interview, and they asked some simple questions. They wanted to know what my goals were for working at Drybar. As long as you're competent, you should do fine. I mentioned my aspiration to move up to corporate, which I think they appreciated.

They asked me about my hair career and the duties of the hair stylist job. They had an audition where I came in and worked on models to perform the blow out styles they offer. They want to see my work and basically make the decision based on how I do. They are willing to train but I will get hired based on my work.

the interview process was pretty straightforward and easy. i got a text message to set up a time to speak with the manager, and then they scheduled my training. i completed the training successfully, which involved doing a few different blow-dry styles on models. during training, they showed me how to use the products and tools and perform the styles. overall, it was a positive experience.

Got an email to schedule an interview pretty quick after applying. It was a blowout demo first, then a 30 min chat with two people from the team. They were nice and professional, and they even gave me a little feedback on my blowout. It was a good experience, but turns out the place I applied to wasn't actually hiring, even though the application said they were.
