Customer Service Representative
The interview was super smooth and felt really put together. They were really clear about what was coming up, who I'd talk to, and even what they were looking for. Everyone I met was really nice, professional, and seemed ready for our chat.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a tough customer.
Customer Support Representative
Applied online and got a 30 min phone screen with the recruiter the next day, we talked about my experience. I got a take-home assignment with a Spanish question. A few days later, I had a 30 min video call with the hiring manager, who asked more in-depth questions about my experience in a rapid-fire way. I clarified my client-focused experience was transferable. Then, there was a 2-hour video call with 6 team members, including a 45 min Spanish segment and a live written assignment for the bilingual role. They sent an internal feedback survey before the decision, which felt awkward. A week later, I was rejected because they needed someone with more direct consumer experience, which was frustrating since I had explained my background. They wanted someone trainable, but the pay was low for the work, and holidays are busy with no time off. The process was fast and communication was good, but I'd only recommend it if you have consumer experience, don't mind $20/hr, and can work holidays. It also seemed like a misuse of 6 people's time for a junior role when they're too busy to train.
- How would you handle an upset customer?
- Tell me about your experience supporting clients and how you believe it applies to supporting consumers.
- Can you provide more details about your background?
