The interview process was very informative and easy going. I felt really relaxed and comfortable with the interviewer. We went over all aspects of the job and what would come next if I were hired. I also met with various team members and managers.

Applied online and heard back from a recruiter about a week later. Had a short, 20-minute phone interview with the recruiter where they asked what I knew about the company, why I applied, and how my experience could help them. After that, I had an in-person interview the next day. The recruiter mentioned it was professional and to wear a suit, but the actual workplace was more business casual – a big open warehouse with cubicles where everyone could hear each other. The interview itself was pretty relaxed. Two people interviewed me, and they asked casual questions like what attracted me to the company and my five-year goals. Then, I spent about 20-30 minutes with an employee to get a feel for the job. This employee was nice and helpful, but other people around were unprofessional, complaining about customers and seemingly unhappy, which contradicted the recruiter's description of a professional environment. A positive was seeing a sense of teamwork among the staff. Later that day, the recruiter called and scheduled a second interview with the director a few days later. This second interview was similar – short and casual. They said I'd hear back in a few days.

I submitted my resume and got a call from a recruiter. We had a quick chat, and she wanted me to meet the managers. She gave me some tips on what to expect and to research the company. The interview was the next day, Friday. I met two really nice guys, got a quick tour, and then headed to the office. They talked about the daily tasks and asked about my past jobs and what I knew about DriveTime. They also asked about areas for self-improvement and my best strengths for the company. Then, another laid-back manager asked why I wanted to work there and about my weaknesses. After that, I sat with someone on the work floor for about 30 minutes. Finally, I met the Director briefly. I heard back on Monday, just a few days after my Friday interview.
