I got an email from an interviewer who wanted to chat, but it turned out they had the wrong job role listed for me. I let them know about the mix-up, but they weren't willing to discuss the position I actually applied for.

Behavioral Case Presentation Other

The interview process was pretty great compared to other experiences. It started with a 30-minute video call. Then, there was an on-site interview to meet sales leaders (CRO, VP of Sales, Director of Sales, and Corporate Counsel). A role-play exercise over the phone was part of this step. I also had another call with a different Director of Sales. Finally, I spoke with the CFO. It was impressive that the CRO, CFO, and VP of Sales were all involved in talking to candidates. This showed transparency and support from the executive level, which is important to me. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience talking with everyone there.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I was contacted on LinkedIn about a different position initially, and had a 30-minute call with the recruiter. Then, I had a 30-minute video call with the CRO. The recruiter then contacted me again about a different role on another team. After that, I had a 30-minute call with the Hiring Manager, who seemed really engaged and answered all my questions. The only red flag was when they wouldn't share information about the team hitting quota, calling it 'proprietary.' The next step was an in-person interview with 5 people. One part was a role-play where I had to pitch a solution I know how to sell and ask about the current state/process. The downside was the interviewer didn't know the product or industry well, making the role-play tough. Some interviewers also seemed unenthusiastic. Honestly, I think there were too many steps and too many people involved overall. The whole thing took a bit over 3 months.
