Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DrFirst.
Marketing
Applied online, and after about a month, an HR person got in touch to schedule a phone screen. That call lasted 30 minutes. They decided to move me forward and sent over two assessments, which I completed and passed. Following that, I was told I'd interview with the hiring manager and was asked to provide my availability for those upcoming interviews. However, after providing my availability, I never heard back, despite following up multiple times.
- Can you share details about your previous work experience?
Marketing
I applied online and heard back pretty quickly. The interview was the very next day. The recruiter for the marketing team was really unprofessional and rude to me. She kept interrupting me and had a really condescending tone. It made me wonder about the quality of the people working at DrFirst. I feel like I dodged a bullet. My advice for upper management would be to hire and train recruiters properly to avoid high turnover.
- How much money have you managed?
Marketing
The HR team was very nice. They didn't seem to know much about the role or the skills required, focusing more on domain expertise than on skills that actually deliver marketing outcomes.
- How would you contribute to our specific technology portfolio, given your knowledge?
- What specific aspects of our technology portfolio are you familiar with, and how would you enhance it?
