The interview process was quick. I got a response on Thursday of the week after my interview. I spoke with one person, and it felt like a genuine conversation rather than a structured interview. It was a very personal interview.

I was super excited to find this job on Indeed. They got back to me pretty fast after I applied by email, and I had a virtual interview on a Tuesday. Then, I went in for an in-person interview 3 days later on Friday. I thought both interviews went great, but it was a bummer not to get the job. I reached out to the interviewer to see if I could get an update, and she responded pretty quickly saying they picked someone else. I followed up asking what I could have done better, but then they ghosted me. As someone new to marketing, getting feedback from experienced pros is really helpful. I was hoping to just connect with the team, but they made it hard. It would have been better if the interview process was clearer and more helpful for everyone.

I got a call a few months after applying to see if I was still looking for a job. The person on the phone mentioned that many applicants had already found jobs. She said she'd call back the next week if she wanted to have me come in for an in-person interview. My first interview was with my future boss, and it was pretty chill and informative. They gave me a couple of problems and asked me to write an essay on how I'd tackle them. A few days later, they emailed saying the solutions should be in a PowerPoint presentation instead. After I sent that in as a PDF, they asked me a second question and wanted another presentation with a solution. I was told I'd likely have a second interview with a panel, including other managers and my potential supervisor's boss. They were trying to figure out dates. I told them I'd be out of town the next week but would be back on a certain date. While I was away, I got an email asking me to come in for the second interview the very next day. I replied that my flight didn't land until two days later, so they rescheduled it for the morning after I got back. My second face-to-face interview was with three other women: two were my potential supervisor's peers, and the third was their boss. They asked me a bunch of questions, but I didn't get a chance to ask any of mine. They just ended the interview abruptly once they were done asking. A few days later, I got an offer letter and a call from my potential supervisor. I had some questions, but she told me to ask her supervisor. He seemed confused why I'd have any questions and was also abrupt in confirming hire details that weren't clear to me. The job started with a week of training that was a bit messy but okay. It felt like nobody really wanted to train me but felt obligated to.

The process was relatively quick, but after the first interview, I was told to wait about two weeks for an update. I never heard back, so I reached out and was subsequently ghosted. This is highly unprofessional. While I understand if they decided to move forward with another candidate, it's impolite to not respond to an inquiry or update candidates on their status. Given their communication standards, I can see why they struggled to fill this position.
