Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dreamwear.
Designer
I was contacted by the HR manager via email who set up the interview. On the day of, I met with the head of the design department for the position I was applying for, who was very pleasant. After that, I met with the HR manager as well, who also briefly interviewed me. This was my first time being interviewed by an HR manager for a position, but overall, it was a positive experience and seems like a good office environment. I was very interested in the position and looking forward to the opportunity but unfortunately didn’t get an offer.
- What kind of environment do you envision yourself working in?
- What is your motivation for wanting to work at Dreamwear?
Assistant Designer
The interview process took over a month to complete, which was a bad experience. It involved three rounds, including a presentation of a project I had to do. The first round was with HR, and the second was with a Designer. After the final interview, I waited more than two weeks for a response, only finding out I was rejected by sending another email. Many interviewers seemed uninterested and disrespectful due to the long waiting times.
- Can you tell me where you find inspiration for your designs?
Assistant Designer
It was a good interview, they laid out what they were looking for and asked me questions based on my resume. They also inquired about my familiarity with certain software they use. Additionally, they asked about my long-term career aspirations.
- Do you have experience handling various brands?
