First, an in-depth phone interview, then an in-person meeting (they asked the same CV questions again extensively, just in 'green' by another HR person); barely any questions about qualifications, barely any questions from the department; no questions about future expectations or the employer, no introduction from employees.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a 1:45h interview conducted by an HR person and the future manager, with the HR person leading. We started with introductions, then moved to Q&A. They really focused on personal suitability for the role. The interview was challenging, as expected for the position, and they really dug deep into some of my answers. The conversation was in both German and English.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • General questions about myself and previous jobs/activities.
  • How would you independently onboard yourself into the new job if you were thrown into the 'deep end' at the start of your new role as Project Manager?
  • Where do you think the main focus of a Project Manager's job lies?

Behavioral Technical

Got a call from a recruiter to see if I was still interested. They said HR would reach out. Later, HR contacted me for situation/behavioral questions and to explain the job details and location. The phone interview was with the managers I'd work with, and they mainly asked about the company and my start date.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Can you tell me about your past work experience?
  • What's your approach to handling unexpected workplace issues?
  • Just checking if you're still keen on this role?
