First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DRÄXLMAIER Group.
Process Engineer
The interview process had 3 stages. First, I spoke with the head of recruiting for behavioral questions. The second interview involved a 6-hour drive each way and a hotel stay for an interview with the head engineer, which I thought went well. I told them I couldn't travel to the factory again for the third interview. They said they'd reimburse my travel expenses for the second interview and conduct the third online with a process engineer reporting to the head engineer. I never received the reimbursement and was declined, which was very disappointing. It felt like they strung me along when they weren't going to hire me.

Logistics Planner
It was well structured, with three interviews happening within 2 weeks, including a case study and a tour of the facility. It felt challenging yet human, very appreciative. I spoke with both the department and HR beforehand. I ended up choosing this company and have heard similar feedback from newer colleagues.
- What are your expectations from us as an employer in the coming years?
Intern
After a welcome and intro from the employer, the candidate will present their background and skills. Then the employer will ask specific questions to assess technical and behavioral skills, often using case studies or practical exercises. Cultural fit will also be discussed through behavioral questions. The employer will then detail the role, responsibilities, and team. The candidate can ask questions to better understand the role and company. The interview concludes with a summary of key points and next steps, followed by thanks.
- Could you present yourself in one minute?
System Administrator
There was a long wait for the initial contact, and the next response only came after I followed up. The job description differed slightly from the job posting. The contact with HR was friendly, and the initial interview via MS Teams was pleasant, creating a good atmosphere. However, the communication felt a bit too superficial, and the people I spoke with were hard to gauge.
