I found the job on my university's career site and a recruiter got in touch to set up a phone interview. It was pretty standard stuff, like asking why I'm into Dow Jones, what I know about the company, and why I'm interested in sales for the relationship manager role. The recruiter didn't seem super excited and the call was short, under 15 minutes, so I was surprised to get moved on. The next step was a Hirevue video interview with about 20 questions, each with a 3-minute time limit. I didn't have much time to prep and it was pretty stressful being my first 'virtual' interview. I haven't heard back since reaching out to the recruiter, so I'm guessing I didn't get it. The whole phone/video thing took about 6 weeks.

The interview process felt structured, transparent, and respectful throughout. I had conversations with several people across the business, and every chat was engaging and thoughtful. Communication was always clear, and the recruitment team was responsive and helpful at every step. The interviews looked at both technical ability and if I was a good fit for the company’s values. I got to ask good questions too. It was a professional and smooth experience overall, and it gave me a great impression of Dow Jones as a company.

I was put in touch with an internal recruiter by a recruiter I frequently work with, and they were really helpful through the whole process. First, I interviewed with my manager, then with someone who does my role in another department, and finally with an executive I'd be working closely with.
