First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dover Corporation.
Software Engineer
The interview was of average difficulty and I had a nice overall experience. It consisted of 3 rounds: 2 technical rounds focused on DSA, and 1 HR round.

- Do you have any questions about data structures and algorithms?
- What about computer core subjects?
Design Engineer
It was a 3-level process. First, there was an aptitude test, then a technical round, and finally a managerial round. If you passed all three, HR would reach out for the joining process. The aptitude and technical rounds were not too hard, mostly easy to moderate. The managerial round was about seeing if you fit into the company.

- Questions on Material science
- Questions on Heat treatment processes
Contract Manager
I wanted to share feedback regarding my recent interview experience with Dover, as I believe it may help improve the process for future candidates. Unfortunately, my experience was not as smooth as expected. My face-to-face interview was rescheduled at the last minute, with only two hours' notice, which created scheduling conflicts on my end. When the rescheduled interview finally took place, I had to wait nearly two hours for the discussion to begin, which was challenging given it was a working day. Furthermore, after the interview, I did not receive any follow-up or feedback for almost 20 days, and despite reaching out multiple times, I was unable to get a response. The lack of communication left me uncertain about the status of my application and caused considerable frustration. Overall, the interview process felt disorganized and left a negative impression. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve the experience for future applicants.

Project Manager
A recruiter from the company contacted me, suggesting my background was a good fit and requesting my resume. Despite mixed company reviews on Glassdoor, I approached the interview with an open mind. However, the recruiter seemed unaware of my company's business and appeared surprised by several aspects of my experience, indicating they hadn't thoroughly reviewed my resume. They lacked information beyond the job description itself. Essentially, it felt like a waste of my time, and their lack of preparation negatively represented the company. I'd advise passing on this interview unless you're extremely set on working there.
- Can you describe your responsibilities in your current position?
