Software Engineer
The recruiter reached out and invited me to see the company. Had a great talk with senior management team so decided to come back for on-site interview. The interview took a full day with 4 or 5 rounds. The interview was both technical and cultural fit with a lunch with a few employees in between.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Software Engineer
Had two tech phone screenings. First one was about my work history. Second one had me create an integer array comparison method in Java online to find duplicates. Then in person, I had to create a singleton and write Junit tests for a string reverse function.
- Write a Java method to compare integer arrays and find duplicates.
- Implement the singleton design pattern.
- Write a function to reverse a string.
Software Engineer
I had a terrible time with this interview process, felt like a complete waste of time. After three onsite interviews where they asked pretty basic questions, I got an email the next day saying I didn't get the offer. The recruiter said it was because they didn't think I'd be a team player, which makes no sense because we never even discussed collaboration. The only thing I can think of is that I used a laptop for the coding question instead of a whiteboard, which would be a ridiculous reason to reject someone.
- Design an elevator system
- Write code for a card game
- Process sequential numbers
