First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Doterra.
Software Engineer Intern
I went through a few interviews, starting with a phone screen and then two in-person interviews. The in-person ones were mainly to see if I'd be a good fit for the company culture. They also threw in some technical questions, focusing more on logic and reasoning during both of those.
- Given a logical problem, what would be your approach to solving it?
Software Engineer
It was a smooth interview process. They focused on friendliness to ensure customer satisfaction. It involved using numerous skills to train and lead others, and a good work ethic was important. General technical questions based on the resume were asked, along with behavioral questions about driving innovation, productivity, customer satisfaction, and profits.
- Tell me about your ability to work effectively within a team.
Software Engineer
Their interview process is very slow and they called me for onsite interviews 3 times, and it was the same every time. I would not recommend wasting your time interviewing here. My advice to the management is to change your interview process and stop wasting candidates' time.
- Tell me about the projects you have worked on in the past.
