Behavioral Technical

I went through 7 interviews for the Assistant Product Manager role. Most of them were with other Product Managers, one was with the Chief of Product, and the last one was with HR. The HR person was super helpful and kept me in the loop. They asked me standard behavioral questions, but honestly, most of the conversations were really engaging and I enjoyed talking with them! In the end, they mentioned I might be overqualified for the position and decided not to move forward with an offer.

Behavioral Other

I started the interview process and quickly realized I didn't want to continue working there. Red flags popped up during the interview: HR called me by the wrong name via email. In the second interview, it was obvious they hadn't reviewed my resume because they made incorrect assumptions about my internships and 'lack of career history.' The interviewer seemed not to be listening, asking the same questions repeatedly. One interviewer was on his cellphone most of the time, which gave me a clear idea of the company culture. I wouldn't even bother applying to a company that shows this much unprofessionalism and lack of attention to detail.

The whole thing took about a year and a half, which was wild. They had me talk to a bunch of different managers and directors over several days of interviews. And the communication between interviews was super slow, sometimes weeks, and they wouldn't get back to me when I reached out.
